Crowding & abrasion

Pronounced deep bite with crowding at the front, combined with severe abrasion of the lower front buccal and upper front palatal and incisal aspects.

The choice was made to orthodontically correct the deep bite and the crowding first, by means of an Invisalign tray system.

The front elements (teeth) were realigned with quadrant composite after the orthodontic correction. The bite was also additionally raised by the alignments at the front. Thanks to the Dahl effect, the oblique sections were in occlusion 3 months later. The patient makes use of a retainer at night on the lower and upper regions.
