| Dentist Hans Scholtanus studied dentistry in Groningen and after graduation, in 1983 he settled down in Wergea as a general practitioner. From 1985 till 1993 he was part-time lecturer at the Leeuwarden AG-Dental Assistants School. From 1997 he has been combining his general practice with a position as dentist-lecturer at the "University Medical Center Groningen". Special interest is invested in conservative dentistry, in particular in adhesive and aesthetic dentistry.
